Our eastern property boundary is a small creek
The eastern boundary to our property is a creek. It doesn't usually flow hard due to a neighbour to the north capturing much of the water upstream in a couple of large dams. Nevertheless, after decent rain the creek flows enough to flush large amounts of water and debris downstream. If the debris is heavy enough it'll destroy any fences that run across the creek.
While checking and repairing fencing elsewhere around our creek paddock, I went down to the creek to check the upstream fence. It's dense bush so slow going to get there. Once there I found that all was well and that there is still a small flow of water. Several tens of small fish were happily swimming around in pools of water.
