A young red-necked wallaby near our sunroom window
As well as having a small mob of kangaroos hang around in the vicinity of the house, we also have a growing number of red-necked wallabies call this their home. Their number has grown over the years and they're so very slowly becoming less wary of us as we move around outside. These wallabies tend to be found on their own, or with another one or two companions.
[Aside: The photograph was taken with an Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max with its 5x optical zoom lens. The "Photos" app processed the photo in portrait mode to blur the background and thus bring the viewer's eye to the subject. It's no wonder that I've not used my large, heavy Nikon camera gear for some years now given modern technology.]
