Callistemon in flower. Dense, red flowerheads. Common name is “bottlebrush”, named after shape of the brush which is used to clean the inside of bottles. It’s a shame I didn’t check the depth of field - hence the out-of-focus flowers on the right hand side. Lesson: don’t rush.

The puffy clouds were the main reason for this photograph. They seems to stand out in front of the rest of the image.
