Gorge with mist

We had some rain today (when you haven’t had rain for several week then it becomes newsworthy). It’s gorge country not too far from the house so I went to see what the gorges looked like. I wasn’t disappointed. It’s not so much the rain that makes them interesting, but the low clouds - remembering that we’re 1000m / 3300 ft above sea level.

Sun and (non)rainclouds “Rain clearing” was the weather forecast for today. It cleared alright, but didn’t actually get around to raining. The clouds were promising, but
