More promises (of rain)More promises (of rain)

I wouldn’t want anybody to get the impression that we’re fixated by the promise of rain, but when there’s been no rain to speak of for a few months, and when the house’s water tanks are beginning to run low, then you begin to take an interest in whether the next chance of rain will produce more than a few drops.

This morning’s backdrop of deep grey, even blue, clouds were interesting enough. But what really caught my eye were these three tiny, low, white clouds. Just them. No others.

Photo Friday: Mother I’ve been trying to get a shot of mother roo and joey in pouch for about a week now. They’re in the same place each morning not long after sunrise.
